Fans claimed on social media that two people were stabbed last night but those reports haven’t been verified.
Naples is often called a notoriously dangerous city for visiting fans and Chelsea did send a warning earlier this month to those who planned to travel.
‘During Uefa competition matches, attacks on away fans have sometimes occurred in Naples,’ a temporary statement read.
Chelsea are hoping to seal a top-eight finish within the Champions League group phase that may secure a spot within the last 16 of the competition and avoid them playing in next month’s play-off round.

A win would guarantee avoiding that fate but Liam Rosenior is under no illusions as to the duty facing his side.
He said: ‘This can be a very strong team.
‘I feel it might have been unlucky within the recent games they played. The outcomes haven’t followed the performances that Antonio’s team have given.
‘We comprehend it’s going to be a really difficult game in a really special atmosphere. It doesn’t change my plans in any respect because I’ve been planning for a really difficult game.’
