On Wednesday, January 28, actor Dhanush and his sons – Yatra and Linga, visited the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam. Several videos and pictures of the the trio have made their way online and never only show them in search of divine blessings but in addition showcase his sons’ protective side. Dhanush’s Sons Protect Him From Mob During Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam Visit
In a video shared on X (formerly Twitter), we see Dhanush walking ahead as his sons, Linga and Yatra, following closely behind. While exiting the temple, post offering their prayers, several fans of the actor quickly surrounded them hoping to satisfy the stat and click on selfies with him. While the actor appeared nonchalant, Linga and Yatra were seen shielding him from the gang. Watch the clip here:
For the temple visit, Dhanush and his sons opted for traditional attires. The trio were seen wearing silk dhotis and angavastrams.
About Dhanush & His Family
Dhanush has two sons from his marriage to Aishwarya Rajinikanth – actor Rajinikanth’s elder daughter whom he married on November 18, 2004. The couple – who divorced in January 222, welcomed their first son, Yatra Raja, on October 10, 2006. In 2010, the couple welcomed their second son together and named him Linga. As per reports, Yatra is an aspiring cinematographer. While Dhanush and Aishwarya parted ways in 2022 after 18 years of marriage, they proceed to co-parent their sons.
For the unversed, on January 17, 2022, Dhanush announced his separation from Aishwarya via a post on X. In it he wrote, “18 years of togetherness as friends, couple, as parents and well-wishers to one another. The journey has been considered one of growth, understanding, adjustment and adaptation. Today, we stand at a spot where our paths separate.”
On the work front, Dhanush was last seen in Aanand L Rai’s Tere Ishk Mein. The romantic drama – also starred Kriti Sanon, opened to mixed reviews from audiences. It amassed a worldwide collection of Rs 161.96 crore. He’ll soon be seen in Vignesh Raja’s Kara. Produced by Dr Ishari K Ganesh, the film is scheduled to release in theatres this summer, with the precise release date yet to be announced.
