Ryan Reynolds’ Rep Responds To Leaked Text Messages

Ryan Reynolds is at the middle of his wife Blake Full of life’s ongoing (and highly publicized) case against Justin Baldoni, and now his representative is speaking out after text messages from the actor were revealed as a part of the unsealed deposition.

Fans are still processing the explosive text messages from Blake Full of life that exposed her exchanges between several Hollywood A-listers, including Taylor Swift, Ben Affleck, and her husband Ryan Reynolds.

Per Puck News, a rep for Reynolds defended the actor against the negative response from fans regarding his comments that were revealed within the text messages.

“Yes, Ryan got involved — what husband wouldn’t support his wife and the mother of his children?” his rep said.

The rep, who was unidentified, continued his defense. “He saw his wife fighting day by day to rise up against sexual harassment in a non-public and respectful way, only to face retaliation for doing so,” the rep continued.

“If anything, Ryan looks like he wasn’t offended enough,” the statement read. “He passionately believes in and can rise up for the fundamental right to a secure workplace freed from harassment and retaliation for his wife and others. Then, now and all the time.”

“I’m super frustrated because it is a moment during which Blake ought to be celebrating,” Reynolds began his criticism of Baldoni, in line with PEOPLE. “She made this unbelievable win occur. She WILLED this weekend into reality.”

The actor continued, adding “Baldoni and these other buckets of dumb-dumb-juice ought to be acknowledging the speculation and gossip themselves. They ought to be jumping in front of it in essentially the most full throated, unqualified way. Now.”

The “Deadpool & Wolverine” star wasn’t done, and continued his tirade against Baldoni, referring to him as a “controlling b-tch,” “thoroughbred, predatory fraudster,” and an “inexplicably toxic mess.”

Reynolds also said within the messages that Baldoni has a “complete lack of not only remorse, but self-preservation is a personality study in malignant, lazy-lidded stupidity and darkness.”

“As stated all along, and reflected in our clients’ motions, in addition to in messages from Sony discussing Ms. Full of life’s behaviors, the evidence doesn’t support [Lively’s] claims as a matter of law,” Freedman said via statement on January 21.

“An easy read of the newly released message exchanges make the reality abundantly clear. We remain confident within the legal process and clearing the names of all of the Justin Baldoni parties,” he said.

In keeping with Us Weekly, an inside source shared that Taylor Swift feels “betrayed” by Full of life allegedly as a result of the fallout from the unsealed text messages being revealed within the Full of life and Baldoni case.

“It’s truthfully been really hard for Taylor,” the source told the outlet. “Having her texts on the market made her feel exposed and form of violated, like, something private suddenly wasn’t hers anymore. That does not sit well along with her.”

“She wasn’t attempting to become involved or make anything larger,” the source continued. “She was just supporting Blake as a friend, in what she thought was a non-public moment. Now, it’s became this whole thing that she didn’t ask for.”

Full of life began her messages to Swift by asking the Grammy winner about where their friendship stands, while noting that throughout the filming, production and promotion of “It Ends With Us” she had been self-centered.

“I even have no reason to ask, but I donno [sic], I have been feeling like I should… is the whole lot okay? I felt like a foul friend recently because I used to be such a tragic sack who only talked about my very own sh-t for months. You were generous to not only be the important thing person there for me during all of it, but in addition to let me off the hook for being so in it,” the “Gossip Girl” star wrote to the singer.

“I all the time want the chance to be a greater friend if there’s something I unintentionally did,” the actress’s messages continued. “I understand how busy and taxed you might be – physically, emotionally, practically, so I do not expect any more from you ever. Just need to make sure that all is sweet.”
