Kim Kardashian and Larsa Pippen were close friends until they’d a falling out in 2020.
Kardashian and Pippen formed a friendship in 2010. The pair were super close as Pippen appeared on multiple episodes of Kim and Kourtney Kardashian‘s reality show Kourtney & Kim Take Miami. The ladies were also by one another’s side for milestone moments including Kim’s marriages to Kris Humphries and Kanye West in addition to Larsa’s ups and downs with ex-husband Scottie Pippen.
Nonetheless, things took a turn for the worst in July 2020 when eagle eyed social media users noticed Kim and other members of the Kardashian family were now not following Larsa on Instagram. Larsa subtly addressed the drama online.
“I Woke up this morning blessed and see that everyone is concentrated on who I’m following and who I’m not following on social media,” she wrote via X on the time. “I’m focused on my children, my latest fitness brand Larsapippenfitness, and my relationships in real life.”
In a further post the Real Housewives of Miami star tweeted, “Praying that everyone finds peace in their very own lives and deal with what brings THEM happiness.”
Nearly six years later, Kim broke her silence on where she stands with Larsa.
“I like Larsa [and] I like her kids,” Kim said to sister Khloé Kardashian on a January 2026 episode of her “Khloé in Wonderland” podcast. “I feel that was a transition when, I feel, she was going through a divorce and Kanye [West] and I were having some issues.”

Rumors Swirl About Kim Kardashian and Larsa Pippen’s Falling Out
In July 2020, rumors swirled that Kim Kardashian and Larsa Pippen had a falling out after the Skims founder was now not following the Bravo personality.
“Kim began actually unfollowing Larsa [at the] end of last 12 months but did so very quietly,” a source exclusively told Us Weekly on the time. “She unfollowed everyone altogether bringing her followers to zero because there have been a whole lot of random accounts and she or he desired to reset it simply to her family and childhood friends.”
Larsa later claimed that her friendship with Kim was impacted by the Kardashians star’s then-marriage to Kanye West.
“If Kanye appears like him and Kim are higher without me, then allow them to be without me,” Larsa alleged on a 2020 episode of the “Hollywood Raw” podcast. “I’m OK with that. … I’ll survive.”
Larsa Pippen Shares Update on Friendship With Kim Kardashian
Two years later, Larsa Pippen revealed that she and Kim Kardashian had spoken since their falling out.
“I feel like we’re in a extremely good place. You recognize, I feel like there was loads [of] miscommunication on the time,” she exclusively told Us in January 2022. “We’ve all apologized to one another. We’re in a extremely good place.”
Larsa continued, “People have disagreements with their friends on a regular basis, but due to who we’re, it’s just so magnified. In point of fact, it’s like, you recognize, perhaps I could have navigated it different [sic]. Another person could have navigated [it] different. … We’re all living our greatest lives. We’re all specializing in our families. We’re completely satisfied for one another.”

Years after their drama, Kim Kardashian addressed what happened between her and Larsa Pippen.
“It just, type of, distanced ourselves and she or he moved to Miami, but I like her. Our children go to highschool together,” Kim said on a January 2026 episode of sister Khloé Kardashian’s “Khloé in Wonderland” podcast. We’ll all the time have so many memories and a lot love there.”
