Michael Owen says the quadruple will probably be beyond Arsenal’s reach this season

Michael Owen believes Arsenal won’t win the quadruple this season and claims Mikel Arteta’s side will be beaten within the FA Cup and Champions League.

Arsenal booked their place within the Carabao Cup final on Tuesday night with a 1-0 victory over Chelsea within the semi-final. Arteta’s men will play either Manchester City or Newcastle United on March 22.

Within the Premier League, Arsenal recovered from three games and not using a win by beating Leeds United 4-0 last weekend, and Manchester City’s 2-2 draw with Tottenham last Sunday means the Gunners are six points clear at the highest of the table.

‘I don’t think there’s anybody adequate to compete with them this season, although I don’t think the points total goes to be that good,’ Owen told talkSPORT.

‘I feel the one teams that might have beaten them initially of the season were Liverpool and Manchester City, who’re obviously faltering.
