With only a select few spots available within the Men’s or Women’s Royal Rumble yearly, there may be at all times debate about who should or should not be overlooked of the matches. That very same debate occurred for the 2026 Royal Rumble PLE, though it mostly pertained to talents on “WWE NXT” or AAA. But as per usual, two-time Hall of Famer Bully Ray had a rather different tackle the matter than everyone else.
On Monday’s episode of “Busted Open Radio,” Bully declared there was one person that will’ve been overlooked of the Men’s Royal Rumble match, and it was none aside from the person who entered the match last and was eliminated last.
“If I might’ve had say, I might’ve voted no GUNTHER within the Rumble,” Bully said. “I might want the last people, I might want the very last thing for the people to recollect is the elimination of AJ…the defeat of AJ. Now, they are going to show GUNTHER defeating AJ again and again. They will remind us of it. But you may’t remind us of Roman winning without reminding us of who he threw out last. So GUNTHER will at all times be involved in that reminder.
“You will see the visual of Roman eliminating GUNTHER, but you may not hear GUNTHER’s name, you may hear them speak about Roman winning. Once they remind us about GUNTHER and AJ, they are going to remind you that GUNTHER made AJ pass out, and AJ needed to retire. I just don’t…now, what I did love was the uncertainty got here out at 30, because when GUNTHER got here out at 30, I did say to myself ‘Holy s**t.’ What did we speak about last Friday Dave? We talked about GUNTHER has the chance to retire AJ and win the Rumble. Wow, what an evening that will be for GUNTHER. In order that they definitely had me fascinated by that.”
