Actor Ram Charan and his wife, businesswoman Upasana Konidela, welcomed their twins—a boy and a lady—on January 31. Chiranjeevi confirmed the joyful news on social media, sharing that Ram and Upasana at the moment are proud parents of two cute babies. Recently, Upasana shared an intimate glimpse from the special occasion on her X account, showing the couple arriving on the hospital while granddad Chiranjeevi patiently waited to share the completely happy news.

Upasana selected Apollo Hospital for the delivery, returning to the identical room where their first daughter, Klin Kaara Konidela, was born a number of years earlier. It was revealed that two teams were present to help with the birth, and Ram and Upasana entered the hospital together, filled with anticipation.
Following the birth, Chiranjeevi announced, “Lots of you’ve gotten wished for something auspicious like this for a very long time. By the blessings of God, a baby girl and a baby boy have been born.” To have fun, pink and blue balloons were released into the sky, and fans gathered outside the hospital to bounce and rejoice.
In her caption, Upasana expressed her gratitude, writing, “Each time I watch this, my heart feels full. I’m deeply grateful for the love, strength, and positivity surrounding us. With folded hands, THANK YOU. Our family is really blessed. Tejesvi Garu & your entire @HospitalsApollo team—your care and dedication meant all the pieces to us. To Ram’s fans and well-wishers, I do know your love comes from a superb place. I trust you’ll at all times protect and respect our youngsters’s safety. Ram Charan married Upasana, the Vice-Chairman of Apollo Charity, in June 2012 after their engagement in December 2011. The couple had known one another for years and were friends before they fell in love and tied the knot. Upasana is the granddaughter of Prathap C Reddy, founding father of Apollo Hospitals, while Ram is the son of Chiranjeevi. Their first child, Klin Kaara, was born in June 2023.
Ram’s latest film, Shankar’s Game Changer, performed modestly on the box office, collecting lower than Rs 200 crore worldwide. He’ll soon be seen in Buchi Babu Sana’s sports drama Peddi, scheduled to release on April 30.
