Team India arrived in Colombo late on Friday, February 13, where they got a grand welcome on the airport ahead of their much-awaited T20 World Cup 2026 clash against Pakistan. The squad travelled from Delhi after securing a dominant 93-run victory over Namibia on the Arun Jaitley Stadium on Thursday, February 12.
Head coach Gautam Gambhir was the primary to exit the airport, with the players following behind as drummers added to the festive atmosphere near the doorway. Abhishek Sharma, who’s recovering from a stomach infection and stays doubtful for the upcoming match, was seen walking alongside Jasprit Bumrah.
