Charles Oliveira is out for revenge when he returns to the Octagon on March 7.
Some have questioned Oliveira’s hunger as he prepares for an additional huge title fight in his thirty seventh bout under the UFC banner.
‘Do Bronx’ could also be a former champion with various records and accolades to his name but he has never held the title that’s on the road next month.
One thing that is bound to motivate Oliveira is proving Max Holloway unsuitable following the BMF titleholder’s comments about their first fight.
That being said, the purpose that was raised by ‘Blessed’ regarding the strange ending of their 2015 clash was echoed by the Brazilian’s coach.

Charles Oliveira’s coach still doesn’t know what caused his injury against Max Holloway
Max Holloway and Charles Oliveira were each on impressive win streaks after they faced off in a featherweight fundamental event in August, 2015.
The fight ended just 99 seconds into the headliner when ‘Do Bronx’ held his left shoulder and signalled to the referee that he couldn’t proceed.
While Holloway and Oliveira have modified loads over the past 11 years, this is bound to be a talking point ahead of their BMF title rematch at UFC 326.
The defending champion’s recent comments about nothing being found to support his opponent’s injury claims were shared by the Brazilian’s coach.
Diego Lima recalled in an interview with MMA Fighting that while he wasn’t coaching Oliveira on the time, he was cornering a distinct fighter on that night.
He spoke about how bizarre the injury was each on the time and within the aftermath because there wasn’t a strike or movement that appeared to cause it.
“It was all very strange,” Lima said. “Really crazy the way it happened. A lot in order that even today no person knows what actually happened. The hospital wouldn’t let him leave or return to Brazil because they couldn’t detect exactly what the issue was, he still had that paralysis. It was something very serious that nobody ever discovered.”

Charles Oliveira was counted out as a consequence of fights like his loss to Max Holloway
Not knowing what had caused Charles Oliveira to be in pain during his first fight with Max Holloway only made it scarier, Diego Lima told MMA Fighting.
It was this fight and several other others that led to questions surrounding ‘Do Bronx’ with reference to his mental toughness when he was forced to be the hammer reasonably than the nail.
He ruled all of those questions out during his spectacular lightweight streak that saw him record 11 consecutive victories, including wins in three consecutive title fights.
The truth is, if there’s been a criticism of Oliveira in recent times, it’s that he’s too willing to place himself in harm’s way with a purpose to land damage of his own.
