SWAT, Forensics, Cop Cars Swarm Nancy Guthrie’s Neighborhood Amid Search

Authorities are seemingly intensifying their seek for Savannah Guthrie’s mother, Nancy Guthrie, who has been missing for nearly two weeks.

Multiple SWAT, forensics officers and law enforcement cars were spotted in Nancy’s Tucson, Arizona, neighborhood on Friday, February 13, in accordance with CNN and NewsNation. CNN reported that law enforcement officials converged on two locations without making any arrests, but did query a person about his apparent involvement. The person, who was reportedly cooperative, was ultimately released.

“We might even see a pair more of those as this goes on,” CNN Chief Law Enforcement and Intelligence Analyst John Miller told the outlet, speculating the case will likely move fast since there’s a “victim within the balance.”

“I feel we saw that again last night, but this particular lead isn’t going to go any further,” Miller said.
