CrossWorlds Fan Adds Kid Goku To Roster

For all the handfuls upon dozens of Dragon Ball games that exist, from RPGs to fighters, if there’s one genre that’s missing, it is a racing game. In spite of everything, how cool wouldn’t it be to have Kid Goku and Piccolo (Driving School) racing around Kame House?

Well, thanks to at least one fan, we’re just slightly bit closer, due to this Kid Goku mod for last 12 months’s surprisingly good racer, Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds. Go figure, Goku matches like a glove given the mass variety of crossover characters already present in CrossWorlds.

As first shared on social media, Goku takes the place of Super Monkey Ball’s AiAi. He rides the Flying Nimbus and there is even some music to assist bring the experience full circle.

The mod, which might be found at GameBanana, is greater than just an easy overlay or character replacer. For instance, the horn is the sound of the Dragon Radar pinging, and the Super Monkey Ball festival has since been replaced entirely with Dragon Ball theming.

Like we said, lots of effort was put into it and it shows.

Ultimately, Goku matches like a glove, not only because he’s awesome (no bias), but because CrossWorlds is such a fever dream as is that it is not that crazy to think he could sooner or later be official DLC.

CrossWorlds Truly Is The Place For IP Crossovers, Whether They Make Sense Or Not

Only one take a look at the roster for CrossWorlds and the scheduled list of DLC, and you would be forgiven for pondering it is a fan-made creation. Except, it is not. It’s one hundred pc real life.

Because beyond Sonic and his goofy forged of friends, there’s SpongeBob SquarePants and Patrick Star, plus Steve and Alex from Minecraft, in addition to Pac-Man, Mega Man and Proto Man on the paid side. Then on the free side, there’s Hatsune Miku, Joker from Persona 5, Ichiban from the Yakuza/Like a Dragon franchise, NiGHTS and the aforementioned AiAi.

So take a look at that list and tell me that Kid Goku and the Flying Nimbus is not an A-plus addition. You possibly can’t. But until then, we’ll must accept a community creation.
