Earlier this yr, Logan Paul announced that he’d signed a brand new WWE contract that may keep him with the corporate on a more full-time basis for the subsequent several years, no less than. Even before that, fans and fellow wrestlers have identified that Paul seems naturally gifted as a wrestler, and through an interview with Sports Illustrated, he revealed that he agrees.
“I used to be born to wrestle,” Paul said. “I actually imagine that. … Each skillset that I’ve garnered throughout the whole thing of my life has culminated into this insane balance of ability that’s the WWE, from the showmanship to the storytelling to the improv and intuition that comes with being a wrestler, to the physicality.”
Paul then referred to a recent public conversation he had with former NFL quarterback Tom Brady, where Paul shared his belief that wrestling is harder than skilled football, though it seems likely that the performer was simply attempting to stir things up together with his comments. So far as his recent WWE contract, Paul stated that the choice was a straightforward one for him.
“I’m too good to go away all that meat on the bone. The WWE needs me,” the wrestler lamented. “The audience needs me, because there is no such thing as a one like me. I needed to inject more of myself on this business, that I’m so clearly gifted at.”
Over the past six years, Paul has wrestled just over 30 matches in WWE, with the vast majority of those happening in 2025. Paul most recently appeared at the top of Monday’s “WWE Raw,” joining his Vision stablemates in a failed try and get Austin Theory within the upcoming Men’s Elimination Chamber match.
