Former Indian batter Ajay Jadeja took a swipe at Pakistan cricketer Shadab Khan who claimed that the holy season of Ramadan would serve because the side’s twelfth man after they secured their berth within the Super 8 of the continuing ICC T20 World Cup with their win over Namibia.

Khan had opined that, “Ramadan is here, and now we’ve our twelfth man with us in Super 8,” after the team picked up their third win in 4 Group A outings on the biennial event in Sri Lanka and India.

Jadeja took to social media platform X, formerly Twitter, to post and update that read, “Is logic se to Pakistan ne ab tak 10-12 world cup jeet jane chahiye the”

Holders India topped Group A with 4 wins in as many games as they got the higher of the USA, Namibia, Pakistan and the Netherlands to maneuver into the Super 8 with an ideal record, while Pakistan joined their arch-rivals in the next stage of the event with six points from their possible eight.

Pakistan opened their campaign with victories over the USA and the Dutch before being given a reality check by the Men in Blue of their third fixture of the Group stage. Nevertheless, Pakistan overcame the wobble with their win over Namibia to punch their ticket within the Super 8 stage of the event.

India and Pakistan will join South Africa, England, West Indies, Sri Lanka, Recent Zealand, and Zimbabwe within the Super 8 following an exciting Group stage that saw former champions Australia knocked out before their final game in Pool B.
