But speaking ahead of the visit of the Magpies, Pep Guardiola has confirmed his talisman is fully recovered.
Asked if Haaland is fully fit, Guardiola nodded to reporters before confirming Savinho can be able to return to motion with Jeremy Doku still absent.
Haaland has scored 29 goals in 37 appearances this season but has suffered a dip in form because the turn of the 12 months, scoring only once within the opening six league matches of 2026.
