Former WWE Superstar Maven has been one of the open and honest people within the wrestling business, commonly revealing every little thing there’s to learn about wrestling on his YouTube channel. Considered one of his most up-to-date videos detailed the entire WWE Superstars he hated working against, with names like Jeff Hardy popping up because his face paint was unattainable to clean off, Raven for being considered one of his earliest opponents, and the largest name of all of them is the present WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H.
“I’ve mentioned that I may not have been Hunter’s favorite person backstage, but that is not the rationale [he hated working with him]. The rationale was being within the ring with Hunter was like taking an ultimate exam, and success meant your profession would skyrocket, and failure could lead on to losing a profession altogether. Yes, Triple H was a wrestler, he’s considered one of the boys backstage, but he’s also Vince [McMahon’s] son-in-law and held lots of power in that company. Impress him, sky is the limit, consider randy Orton [or] Batista. Fail him, well consider me. Other than the backstage power, there was truly nobody higher within the ring than Hunter, making a match with him much more intimidating. But in saying that, Triple H, he was considered one of my favorite opponents, knowing what was at stake for my profession if I impressed him, but additionally knowing that he was truly the most effective in the sport. Still though, each time I wrestled Triple H, I walked around your complete day with a pit in my stomach.”
Maven and Triple H shared the ring again and again through out 2003 and 2004, with Maven even difficult “The Game” for the World Heavyweight Championship on an episode of “WWE Raw” in November 2004. Triple H retained his title on that night, but that match is taken into account by many to be considered one of Maven’s best matches during his WWE profession.
