Michael ‘Venom’ Page is rolling with the punches after airing his UFC grievances.
Page was open about being frustrated with not getting welterweight offers following a transient but successful stint at middleweight.
The Brit was at all times clear on the undeniable fact that he was only moving to 185-pounds in order that he could stay lively and pursue some exciting matchups.
He can have been eventually granted his wish to return all the way down to 170 but Page isn’t completely happy with being booked against Sam Patterson at UFC London next month.
‘MVP’ thinks that his relationship with the promotion has modified over time but he still believes that things may turn around.

Michael ‘Venom’ Page thinks he can return to being aligned with the UFC despite his complaints
When Michael ‘Venom’ Page signed to the UFC in 2023, he made his intentions within the promotion clear.
He’d already accrued experience in Bellator and desired to be thrown right into the deep end to compete against the highest names in the game.
Page spoke about this in a recent interview with Bloody Elbow ahead of Total Kombat’s (his all-striking promotion) upcoming event on February 28 in Liverpool, England.
‘MVP’ said that things have definitely modified with reference to his UFC relationship over time.
After fighting Kevin Holland and Ian Machado Garry in his first two Octagon outings, he produced back-to-back wins at middleweight to try to stay lively while being in exciting matchups.
He could also be yet to record a finish within the UFC, but his highlight reel is difficult to match, and he’s confident that he could return to being on the identical page with the promotion if things go to plan on March 21.
“It definitely felt like yeah, we were aligned, it’s moving into the proper direction, big names, big fights, just more recently it hasn’t gone in that direction,” he said. “But, I feel like things try this. It’s at all times swings and roundabouts.
“Things go up and down, nothing’s linear. You have got to roll with the punches. That is where it’s at for the time being. It could go from this to an enormous fight or the following couple fights being massive and I’ve just got to maintain focused on the goal at hand for myself.”

Michael ‘Venom’ Page says Sam Patterson matchup has come on the flawed time
Michael ‘Venom’ Page told Bloody Elbow that he wouldn’t have even needed to say anything for people to query whether he’s not within the UFC’s good books.
Nonetheless, he’s made one thing very clear, he’s not completely happy with this fight due to name value of the matchup, what a win does for him, and his placement on the UFC London card.
Having trained with Sam Patterson for several of his recent camps, ‘MVP’ rates his fellow Brit very highly and knows how dangerous a fight that is for him.
Page explained that he’d reached a degree in waiting for fights and sending lists of names to the promotion that he would’ve accepted anything though he didn’t need to fight someone whose profession he’s supporting.
“It’s weird since it’s an exciting fight by way of style,” he told Bloody Elbow. “Sam Patterson is a tremendous up and coming athlete within the mixed martial arts world, it’s just not exciting by way of names because I just feel prefer it’s mistimed. It’s way too early. I feel like he’ll get to that place and individuals are definitely going to listen to increasingly more about him as his profession goes on cuz he’s super talented, I just feel prefer it’s not the proper time.”
