In a post on Instagram, Dane’s friend, Mike McGuiness, posted a series of photos of the 2 together in happier times alongside a lengthy caption during which he commented on the necessity for the GoFundMe.

A GoFundMe was created for Eric Dane and Rebecca Gayheart’s two daughters, Billie, 15, and Geraldine, 13, following his death on February 19.

Some Redditors also identified Dane’s successful acting profession, which netted him tens of millions, specifically on “Grey’s Anatomy” and the upcoming third season of HBO’s “Euphoria.”
