WWE’s Nattie can have loads of give attention to her own profession immediately, especially since she turned on former protege Maxxine Dupri and started to reinvent herself because the “Lowkey Legend.” But despite all of that, the veteran still has loads of time to maintain track of other wrestling promotions, including AEW. And one woman that is really impressed her during the last 12 months in Triangle of Madness leader Thekla.
While discussing Thekla’s AEW World Championship victory on last week’s “Busted Open Radio,” Nattie revealed she had grow to be a fan of “The Toxic Spider” one 12 months ago, when she by likelihood got to see Thekla wrestle a match.
“I watched Thekla wrestle, and I wanted to fulfill her,” Nattie said. “I desired to get an image together with her backstage, because I used to be so impressed together with her ability. She also just had this…it wasn’t just what she was doing within the ring…She had this cool presence about her that you can tell she had worked on her character, and she or he really knew who she was. She form of, she was doing stuff that form of jogged my memory of Bray Wyatt. And she or he just had this bad ass presence about her. But every part she did was crisp and had snap to it and was like…I used to be so impressed.”
Nattie also had kind words to say in regards to the woman Thekla beat for the AEW Women’s World Championship, Kris Statlander. Specifically, Nattie complimented Statlander on her ability to beat several major obstacles.
“It’s challenging, getting back from an injury,” Nattie said. “I used to be talking yesterday with Nikita [Lyons]. I used to be filming some stuff yesterday on the Performance Center for ‘LFG,’ and I used to be talking to Nikita, because Nikita had two back to back knee injuries. No one realizes how hard that’s to get injured, not only once, but twice, and are available back and be higher than ever before. It’s work. But it surely’s also mental work.”
