Heavyweight Pryce Taylor floors referee en path to KO win on Claressa Shields undercard

Heavyweight boxer Pryce Taylor showed his power on Sunday night in Detroit, and even the referee got here near feeling it.

The undefeated skilled moved to 11-0 with a knockout win over James Evans within the fundamental card opener for Claressa Shields’ rematch with Franchon Crews-Dezurn. He dominated proceedings and sent the much smaller heavyweight Evans to the canvas multiple times.

Taylor even got to indicate a few of his personality as he danced and joked throughout the fight. And he sent referee Ansel Stewart tumbling to the bottom throughout the fourth round before getting his finish two minutes into the fifth.

The commentators were in hysterics in the meanwhile, which immediately caught the attention of social media users who were watching the event. On X, commenters laughed about what happened with one writing that “Everybody was in the way in which of that windmaker.”
