Over the months, the talk surrounding Kadri has gone from him wanting to remain to him being willing and open to a trade, and now to wanting to be traded.
NHL Rumors: Motion on Nazem Kadri Picked Up
As Eric Francis of Sportsnet wrote, Kadri know the inevitable is coming in the case of a trade out of Kadri. He has asked for a trade, but management knows his desire to win again. While he desired to do it in Calgary, he understands their plan. He’s a Calgary Flame for now, but teams will probably be calling on the trade deadline as they accrue that cap space.
