Rachit Singh is a well-liked Indian YouTuber and digital creator known for his comedy sketches and relatable middle-class family content. He gained massive recognition through his YouTube channel, where he plays multiple characters. In an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Bubble, Rachit Singh reacted to The 50 contestant Karan Patel’s controversial and derogatory remark on social media influencers and content creators, thus making a distinction between TV actors and creators. Scroll right down to read what he said.
When questioned about what affected him probably the most amid the heated controversy and arguments contained in the house, Rachit Singh said, “Mere ko aisa koi andar se nahi tha, koi feeling, na maine koi aisi controversy starting mein start kari thi. Bahar aane ke baad hi humein yeh cheez pata lagi ki woh log aisa bol rahe hain ki influencers aur creators aa gaye, aur inse kuch hota nahi hai, pata nahi kyun bula lete hain. “
Reacting to Karan Patel’s controversial statement, he said, “Aur phir Karan Patel ne bola ki, ‘ghodon ki race mein gadhe daudenge.’ Yeh cheezein bahar aane ke baad pata lagi kyunki yeh hamare saamne nahi boli gayi thi. Yeh alag se bol rahe the. Woh camera pe record hua aur bahar aayi cheezein. Ab humne apni side se aisa kabhi bhi nahi bola. Toh ab aap is cheez se dekh sakte ho ki saamne wala banda khud hi bolne lag raha hai ki hum toh achhe hain, hum superior hain, hum aise hain waise hain. But show mein woh cheezein dikhti nahi hain. Toh phir mechanically public ko pata lagta hai kaun kaisa hai, kaun kaisa nahi hai. Hum log jaise the waise hi rahe andar, aur audience ne waisa hi humein pasand kiya.”
Further, on the groupism of TV actors in the home, the YouTuber added, “Yeh cheez toh starting se hi chal rahi thi. Matlab inmein na ek woh classism hai ki hum log superior hain. Yeh feel karvaate the andar. But humein fark hi nahi pada un cheezon se, kyunki humein pata hai ki hum log kya hain. Hamari value kya hai, hamari audience kya hai, aur hamari audience ki power kya hai. Woh sab janta achhe se jaanti hai. Beshak aap saamne baith ke mujhe kitna hi feel kara lo, par humein fark nahi padega. Aap bolte raho. Aap apne muh se khud ko bolte raho, ‘hum toh superstar hain, hum toh yeh hain, woh hain.’ But phir yahan kya kar rahe ho? Kuch badhiya project karo, movie-woovie karo badhiya. Yahan kya kar rahe ho show mein?”
