Jorge Masvidal is officially returning to competition to tackle Shara Magomedov in Hype FC.
Masvidal recently said Nate Diaz shouldn’t be his opponent but he’s still able to drop whatever he’s doing to make a UFC comeback on the White House.
It has been nearly three years since we last saw ‘Gamebred’ compete in MMA, though he has had a boxing match against Diaz since then.
Following Masvidal’s announcement of his next bare-knuckle event, there was confirmation of his return, and it’ll see him compete in a brand new ruleset.

Jorge Masvidal set to compete against Shara Magomedov in Hype FC grappling match

The competition will happen on the Farmasi Arena in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on March 11.

Magomedov has recently been talking about facing Alex Pereira in a match following his debut in Hype FC, where he went to a draw with Arman Tsarukyan.
The promotion’s previous try to pit Tsarukyan against Tom Hardy shows that they’re ambitious concerning the names that they’ll usher in.
Hosting Masvidal’s first competitive outing since his boxing loss to Nate Diaz in July, 2024 is just one other example of that.
