Conor McGregor is backing Floyd Mayweather to get the job done on September 19.
Mayweather stopped Conor McGregor in what seemed to be his final pro bout back in 2017 before competing in several exhibitions.
While this seemed to be the top of his profession, that was before a surprising announcement from Netflix on Monday.
The streaming service has announced that Mayweather will return to face Manny Pacquiao on the Las Vegas Sphere in a rematch going down 11 years on from their first encounter.
‘The Notorious’ clearly believes that certainly one of them has aged more gracefully than the opposite during that point when sharing his prediction for his or her second chapter.

Conor McGregor expects Floyd Mayweather to simply beat Manny Pacquiao
Conor McGregor has spoken about wanting to face Floyd Mayweather in a rematch for a while before the news of his former foe’s comeback.
He made reference to this once more after predicting that “Floyd beats him easy” when sharing his response to the Manny Pacquiao fight being announced via his Instagram story.
‘The Notorious’ added, “See ya soon bro,” seemingly suggesting once more that he, like ‘PacMan’, wants a second shot at Mayweather.
While Mayweather has competed in various exhibitions since 2017, Pacquiao has been more lively, having ended a four-year hiatus in 2025 to face Mario Barrios.
McGregor clearly doesn’t think that the additional rounds that ‘PacMan’ now has under his belt will give the Filipino much of a bonus.
The primary fight between the 2 boxing legends in 2015 saw Mayweather win a clear-cut unanimous decision on all three of the judges’ scorecards.

Dana White said Conor McGregor’s UFC return isn’t done in latest update
In recent weeks, Conor McGregor has expressed some frustration towards the UFC over his planned comeback.
A now-deleted post from ‘The Notorious’ saw him claim that he’s on day 15 of telling him that he accepts whatever they’re offering and is requesting a contract.
When asked for an update on this, Dana White told the media this past weekend at a post-fight press conference in Houston that “if it was done and he had accepted, I’d announce it.”
