Now I don’t think it’s anything like (Auston) Matthews or (William) Nylander or anything like that. I don’t think we’re talking about that. But like I said, the word around them is that they’re widening their ideas of what they might consider, and so they are talking a bit more about players with term.

Relating to Bobby McMann, I’ve been told that one could go either way. I imagine there may be an extension that each side know could occur. But I’m told that one could go in either direction.

A defenseman who can play the proper side, OEL has done that before, or potentially a 3rd center. Especially if Ryan Nugent Hopkins stays on the wing. I believe they’re also considering a middle.
They’ve got to maneuver on from (Andrew) Mangiapane. But those are, I believe, the 2 positions that Edmonton is considering shoring up.”
