The ‘Dear Comrade’ co-stars had two wedding ceremonies – a Telugu ceremony within the morning to honour Vijay’s culture and one per Kodava traditions within the afternoon as an ode to Rashmika’s heritage. The ceremony was an intimate affair with only close family and friends in attendance.
For the ceremony, Rashmika looked stunning in a wealthy rust saree with a striking red border and embroidered with temple motifs inspired by Hyderabad’s historic architecture. Vijay’s wedding attire was equally meaningful and comprised of an ivory dhoti paired with a vermillion angavastram, drawing inspiration from Hyderabad’s textile legacy and the strength of the Vanasingaram weave.
