I need to predominant event WrestleMania again. I need to do all this stuff since it really is actually an honor, you already know? Like, I busted my *** to get here and these are sort of to me, it’s like proof of concept that my labor didn’t go unnoticed and I’m one in every of the leaders within the industry.”

“You’re employed to make it to the massive leagues, on the time WCW after which it was WWE. You’re employed hard to get there, but when you get there, like, okay, now I actually have to begin working on this and really watch the most important names within the business and the way they do things. How can I compete with them, you already know? And I all the time say that I used to be just like the George Harrison of the Attitude Era, in that once I first got here in I used to be super popular. People loved me. But I used to be in the corporate with The Rock and Steve Austin. The largest babyfaces on this planet. So, very like George, I’m an incredible musician, an incredible songwriter, but I’m in a band with ***** Paul McCartney and John Lennon. What can I do? Nothing. There’s no way I can get greater than them.”

During a recent appearance on the “Beyond The Bell” podcast, Carmelo Hayes said he would “run circles” around CM Punk in the event that they ever wrestled.

“Yeah, I mean I definitely wish to wrestle CM Punk. I had made a joke on Twitter, I used to be like, if we do, it’s got to be winner takes all. That’d be crazy. I’d probably run circles around him, truthfully. I believe CM Punk’s an incredible in-ring performer, but I don’t think he’s ready for what I got, ’cause, man, I’m just going straight away. I’m very much so looking forward to that match. And I challenge CM Punk to essentially, you already know, bring the warmth, man.”
