As I used to be driving down here, I got a phone call from someone who was really indignant about what’s happening this week. Like, Myers situation was a little bit bit different, because he was scratched, and everybody sort of knew that he was excited about a deal.

But now the Parayko’s has gotten out, and the Weegar gotten out, and the Weegar’s on me, before players had agreed to simply accept them. And that’s what Parayko is doing.”

Amber: “It’s so complicated since it’s not a unilateral decision by the team to say, ‘Hey, we’re going to make this move.’ You’ve to ascertain so many players have these no-movement, no-trade, minimal trade deals.”

Friedman: “I’ve tried to eliminate you for years, but you might have like a no-fire clause.”

NHL News: Tyler Myers, Kiefer Sherwood, and Michael McCarron
