Amazon MX Player, India’s leading free, premium, ad-supported video streaming service, today launched the power-packed trailer of its upcoming socio-political thriller Sankalp, marking the much-awaited streaming debut of veteran actor Nana Patekar. Inspired by the traditional Chanakya–Chandragupta chronicles, the series reimagines political strategy for contemporary India, where classrooms replace.

The trailer offers a striking entry right into a world shaped by three forces: Sanskaar, Satta, and Samarpan. Anchored by Nana Patekar, the series also boasts a formidable ensemble solid featuring Sanjay Kapoor, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, Neeraj Kabi, Kubrra Sait, and Kranti Prakash Jha in pivotal roles. Produced by Jyoti Deshpande for Jio Studios and Dishaa Jhaa under the banner of PJP movies Productions, Sankalp is ready to premiere on March 11, exclusively on Amazon MX Player.

A Jio Studios presentation, this electrifying series is directed and produced by National Award–winning filmmaker Prakash Jha. Set between the political nerve centres, the story introduces Ma’at Saab, an influential educator whose authority rests on values, loyalty, and unwavering devotion. The trailer builds steadily with a charged confrontation between the mentor and mentee, exposing the moral price of ambition and the skinny line between guidance and establishing dominance. The tussle that ensues is what keeps everyone hooked to see if the scholar gets to rise against the master.
Nana Patekar On His OTT Debut With Sankalp
