On the evening of Tuesday, March 3, Roberts took to Instagram to share a carousel of photos of herself, Lil Poppa, and their son, Kofi, alongside a lengthy caption.
“MYKEL..what’s understood don’t ever need to explained especially to the web! nothing could EVER describe the pain, the thoughts, the constant heartbreak of all of it. our reality changing before my eyes.. i’ve been wondering how could you be so in a rush to depart us so suddenly & torturing… i do know you didn’t mean to & you didn’t mean to harm us. ESPECIALLY NOT KOFI.. a minimum of NOT LIKE THAT!!! how tf you allow without saying you’ll see us later?! i actually don’t understand & i feel played about all of it but i do know you understand why,” she began.
From there, Roberts appeared to the touch on apparent web sentiments.
“then they speak on what they THINK they know, i can’t lie I’M OFFENDED. Y’ALL DON’T KNOW SHIT! Y’ALL DON’T KNOW ME! Y’ALL DONT KNOW US! the world publicly seen a few of our worst moments, which we weren’t pleased with however the ‘beef’ was never larger than what we shared & created,” she wrote.
Roberts went on to say that she and her son were “robbed of a lot in a blink of an eye fixed.” Nevertheless, she hopes that Poppa found the “peace” he was on the lookout for.
Moreover, Roberts even shared a now-deleted message via her Instagram Story, where she addressed those that are “blaming” her for Poppa’s passing.

Nevertheless, by the next 12 months, their relationship hit a rough patch, and Lil Poppa reportedly released a diss song toward Roberts. The track reportedly accused Roberts of infidelity, and although Roberts denied the claims, social media sentiment toward her appeared to shift negatively.
