The Premier League takes a backseat this weekend with the FA Cup fifth round offering up some compelling ties up and down the country.
In a repeat of their midweek clash within the league, Wolves host Liverpool at Molineux tonight having snatched a dramatic late victory over Arne Slot’s side just three days ago.
Arsenal will fancy their possibilities of continuing their march towards a quadruple away to Mansfield Town while Wrexham have the glamour tie they prayed for, hosting Chelsea on the Racecourse Ground.
Newcastle United and Manchester City might be sick of the sight of one another, meeting for the fifth time this season on Saturday.
Ahead of the motion, England legend and Betfair ambassador Alan Shearer has revealed a few of his FA Cup predictions to Metro.
Wolves vs Liverpool
I would say Liverpool will get back to winning ways on Friday. Due to what’s happened in midweek, I believe they’ll go into the sport really wound up and able to go, and I might expect Liverpool to bounce back and undergo to the subsequent round.

Liverpool need the FA Cup this season for obvious reasons. So, they need an enormous performance, and so they must turn it around what happened in midweek by way of the league game.
They should go there and wish to get through to the subsequent round, since it’s an enormous competition now for Liverpool this season.
Prediction – Liverpool
Newcastle vs Manchester City
I believe Man City would have checked out Newcastle’s game against Man United and wouldn’t have wanted Newcastle to place within the performance like they did, and type of get their belief and the boldness back. They’d relatively Man United beat them and put them under huge pressure.

Pep knows that coming to St. James’ Park might be considered one of their hardest games of the season for Man City. I genuinely think Newcastle have gotten a probability of going through.
I believe City will give them probabilities, and with the pace they’ve got up front, and clearly City won’t sit back will play to their strengths. This season when, if there may be a time when Newcastle struggle, it’s been when attempting to break someone down who’s got a low block.
But City won’t do this, so I assume they’ll leave space in behind, and I believe Newcastle might get through here. It’ll be tight, it all the time is but I believe Newcastle might need enough to get through.
Prediction – Newcastle
Wrexham vs Chelsea
I’m really looking forward to this one. I’m going and doing the co-comms for this game. I did Chelsea within the last round against Hull. They went there with a fantastic attitude, as you could have to. It can be something similar here. I mean, Wrexham might be rocking. It’ll be absolutely rocking on Saturday on the Racecourse Ground.

It’s been an unbelievable story with Wrexham since Rob and Ryan have taken over. And I assume that is just a part of their journey.
I do think, with the standard that Chelsea have, with the result that they had in midweek away from home, I still think whatever team he puts out, I believe they’ll still have enough to beat Wrexham.
Prediction – Chelsea
Mansfield vs Arsenal
I assume Mikel Arteta will make changes, but I even think with the changes that are available in, they’ll still have the standard. I don’t see a shock at Mansfield, no, I believe Arsenal will undergo with ease.
Prediction – Arsenal
