“I liked him and it’s been absolutely crazy. I’m talking about him? This guy hasn’t shut up for the reason that day I got into the game. It’s the rationale I’m actually [involved in the feud].

“Eddie said ‘that is great, I sit up for competing with him and there’s a whole lot of things he doesn’t learn about boxing that he’s going to learn the hard way’. Eddie, I’ve been on this business for 30 years.”

And asked if the pair could settle their differences within the ring, White replied by joking that they’d be more prone to fight Jake Paul, given his affinity for older opponents. “How old is Eddie? He’s in his 40s,” White quipped.

“He’s huge… Let’s put it this manner, we’re each too old, it might need to be like a Jake Paul Netflix card, or we could each fight Jake Paul because we’re actually within the age bracket of men he likes to fight… I don’t know.”

Morgan then regaled White with a story of Hearn boxing his father, who would have been approaching his 50s, during his teenage years. “Listen, if Eddie desires to box, we will box,” White grinned. “I don’t think Eddie desires to box.”

Asked if he can be confident, White replied: “Yeah, I used to box with all the blokes back within the day, boxers and UFC guys. I actually have boxed… Absolutely.”

“They must be joyful for him in the event that they’re that friendly and that close or he could have matched the deal. He obviously has the cash and he could have matched or beat it.”
