Conor McGregor doesn’t recognize the ‘BMF’ tag attached to the UFC 326 essential event.
The third numbered card of the Paramount era takes place on Saturday in Las Vegas, where BMF champion Max Holloway will put his belt on the road.
Charles Oliveira will challenge Holloway for the symbolic title, 11 years after a freak injury awarded the win to ‘Blessed’ of their first fight.
McGregor foresees an identical result the second time around, believing that Holloway can “break” the Brazilian legend again.

Conor McGregor picks Max Holloway to beat Charles Oliveira
McGregor featured in a recent UFC Instagram post showing fighters predicting Saturday’s essential event between Holloway and Oliveira.
While the likes of Alex Pereira and Amanda Nunes backed their compatriot to get the job done and avenge his previous setback to ‘Blessed’, McGregor joined Jon Jones and Islam Makhachev in predicting a Holloway victory.
The Irishman referenced Holloway’s 2015 win over Oliveira when making his pick. Despite a freak neck injury causing a TKO after just 99 seconds, McGregor believes the Hawaiian “broke” his rival and is able to repeating the feat.
“It’s an incredible matchup…I’m very much looking forward to it,” McGregor wrote.
“It’s at all times exciting for me to see fighters rematch. It takes great courage and honour to accomplish that and I at all times respect it.
“Their last day trip it seemed Holloway broke Charles early within the fight and it was then stopped. It was hard to inform whether it was a real injury or a caused one. I see an actual good fight but with an identical final result (at UFC 326),” he added.
“Max is light on his feet and may pop Charles and start to interrupt him again. It’s a special Charles nonetheless, so we’ll see.”

Is Max Holloway vs Charles Oliveira BMF-worthy?
It wasn’t just his prediction that McGregor provided. He also went on a rant in regards to the BMF label attached to Holloway’s rematch with Oliveira.
Bloody Elbow readers picked their UFC BMFs from throughout history this week, and lots of were identifying Holloway because the title’s rightful owner.
Some have questioned whether Oliveira qualifies for the category during fight week, but McGregor’s gripe with the BMF stakes lies elsewhere. In response to ‘The Notorious’, the burden limit prevents the fight from being a real clash of BMFs.
“I don’t feel the BMF title is accurate here,” McGregor suggested.
“With each men suffering within the sauna to make the (weight) limit. There’s zero BMF about this.”
And, after all, the at all times confident Irishman didn’t conclude his message before claiming he could defeat each men contained in the Octagon and should look to pursue the BMF title in his comeback.
