An AEW star has quietly signed a brand new take care of the corporate, though the circumstances behind it might not be what many expected.
In line with a report from Fightful Select, AEW’s Kevin Knight has re-signed with the promotion. Knight originally joined AEW on a one-year contract in the beginning of 2025 after his take care of Recent Japan Pro Wrestling expired just before that 12 months’s Wrestle Kingdom event.
Knight has now agreed to a brand new multi-year contract with the corporate. His performances have reportedly been well received inside AEW, where he previously captured the AEW Trios Championship alongside Speedball Mike Bailey and Hangman Page. He has also recently competed against top stars akin to Swerve Strickland and MJF on AEW television.
Sources indicate that the brand new deal was finalized earlier this 12 months.
