Yash’s Toxic was speculated to hit theatres on March 19 and was scheduled to clash on the box office with Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar 2. But after the makers recently announced the postponement of the movie attributable to tensions within the Middle East. Nevertheless, many wondered if it was done to avoid a clash with the Aditya Dhar directorial. Nevertheless, an insider near Yash has now revealed that there’s ‘no rivalry’ between Toxic and Dhurandhar 2. And, in actual fact, the actor is admittedly looking forward to the sequel to Ranveer Singh’s film.

“Yash loved Dhurandhar and is looking forward to Part 2. All of the rivalry, anxiety, and competitiveness is created by outsiders desirous of juicing the so-called competition between the 2 movies,” a source cited by Bollywood Hungama said.
“Now, Toxic has moved forward not for fear of competition. But for the escalated war situation within the Gulf and UAE, which Dhurandhar 2 needn’t fear in any respect. Part 2 shall be banned in Muslim countries identical to Part 1 was,” the insider added.

On the occasion of Holi, Yash took to Instagram to tell fans in regards to the delay of Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups. The makers’ statement read that the film was created with the aim of connecting with global audiences, and after years of ‘dedicated labour’.
