In an exclusive chat with Bollywood Bubble, Simran opened up about being bro-zoned by the contestants on the fact dating show. Simran Khan Opens Up On Getting Bro-Zoned In Splitsvilla X6
When asked about what the situation was like when she realised these were the lads of the show and that she would must construct connections with them, Simran Khan said, “All guys are nice, but sabne mujhe bhai bana ke rakha tha. I feel like unko mujhse bro wali feeling aati hai. I’m very moofat. Haan, primary pehle se hi kaafi moofat hoon. I’m very loud aur primary kuch bolne se pehle zyada sochti nahi hoon. Toh logon ko lagta hai ki yeh toh bro waali feeling deti hai.”
Moreover, she said, “That’s what Yogesh also said in his first episode that uski bro waali feelings aati hai. Saare ladkon ko mostly aisa lagta hai ki ‘yeh toh tera bhai hai’. Toh ladkon mein sirf Yogesh was my type. Maine ye clear bhi kar diya tha. But later mujhe pata chala ki woh sirf 22 ka hai, aur mujhe generally older guys pasand hain.”
Simran Khan Reveals Auditioning For The Previous Season Of MTV Splitsvilla
Reflecting on her try to be an element of Splitsvilla last 12 months, “I attempted for last 12 months’s season. But my account was not there. Like, it got banned in December 2023. Us time pe aise shoots chalte hain aur next month, matlab Jan mein next 12 months woh release hota hai, right? Ek-do mahine pehle shoot hota hai. Toh 2023 mein maine auditions diye the aur 2024 mein release hua tha, like that. Phir same cheez waise hi hui. Toh primary aise thi ki maine toh de diya hai audition. Ek third party involved thi, casting person, aur woh bol rahe the ki hum aapka karwa denge. Maine audition bana ke bheja. Ab scene kya ho gaya? Mera selection nahi hua. Unhone bola ki tumhara social background nahi hai. Matlab, you don’t have an account, toh tum promote kahan karoge? Where will you promote all this?”
She further added, “Principal aise thi ki never mind. But phir last 12 months jaise Sunny ma’am mere explore pe aayi. Neeche likha tha, ‘Kya aap bhi hain Splits-pagalu?’ Maine dekha aur bola chalo primary bhi bhar deti hoon. Toh maine form bhar diya. Aur do din baad mujhe un logon ka call aaya. Unhone bola ki you have got been passed in your audition, ab interview ke liye aao.”
The evicted contestant concluded, “Phir maine papa ko bola. Papa were like, ‘Go for it. But Padhai?’ I used to be like Padhai kar lungi. But my teacher, my HOD, I believe I’m her favourite. She supports me throughout. Matlab har cheez mein support karti hain.”
