UFC White House’s Aiemann Zahabi sends defiant response to Sean O’Malley mismatch claims

Aiemann Zahabi just isn’t nervous about what the percentages say for his UFC White House fight.

The bantamweight contender was among the many more surprising names to feature when the June 14 card was unveiled during last Saturday’s UFC 326 broadcast.

Zahabi will fight Sean O’Malley on the White House lineup, as he looks to proceed his winning form contained in the Octagon and earn his first title shot.

Betting odds would suggest that the Canadian has little likelihood of that taking place, but Zahabi is unfazed.

Aiemann Zahabi dismisses lopsided odds for Sean O’Malley fight at UFC White House

The UFC White House card reveal definitely split opinion, with many underwhelmed by the matchups set to happen in Washington D.C. this June.

Loads of critics have pointed to the O’Malley vs Zahabi bantamweight clash, describing it because the UFC’s try and push ‘Suga’ back to the title.

That sentiment is seemingly reflected by the betting odds, which have the previous champion as a big favorite over Zahabi.

However the No. 6-ranked contender is taking no notice of such narratives within the lead-up to UFC White House and plans to let his fighting do the talking.

“The percentages won’t be within the cage fighting for us,” Zahabi wrote.

Despite entering as an enormous favorite, O’Malley is coming up against a lengthy winning run on the White House.

Zahabi has climbed the ladder at 135 kilos courtesy of a seven-fight winning streak since getting back from a two-year layoff in 2021.

After getting past the legendary Jose Aldo, Zahabi beat Marlon ‘Chito’ Vera in his most up-to-date fight last October.

He’ll now look to net the most important win of his profession at what guarantees to be the UFC’s grandest event of 2026, headlined by title fights featuring Ilia Topuria and Alex Pereira.
