In only a couple of months, UFC will hold an event on the White House, and the promotion’s CEO and president, Dana White, has discussed the ticket situation.
The excellent news is, there will probably be loads of tickets distributed, as he told UFC’s YouTube channel. After all, some will probably be seated on the South Lawn, but there will even be 85,000 tickets distributed for the Ellipse, the park south of the White House. Even higher? The tickets are going to be given out freed from charge.
“The way in which that the White Home is laid out, you have got the White House, you’ve got the South Lawn, after which there’s a road after which the Ellipse as a park that is right there,” White explained. “We will be ticketing 85,000 people within the Ellipse. And the tickets are free, and we’ll announce how we’ll be giving them away soon. But you must plan on going to Washington, D.C. for this event.
“There’s going to be all types of activations within the Ellipse. There’s going to be music, bands are going to be playing, and you’ll be able to actually sit within the park and watch the fight on the screens, but you may actually see the entire setup. It’s right there. It can be a really unique, cool experience for fight fans,” he continued.
