Report – WWE Officials ‘Shocked’ By Ronda Rousey’s AEW Revolution 2026 Debut

Ronda Rousey stunned fans with a surprise appearance on the 2026 AEW Revolution pay-per-view event, where she confronted Toni Storm following Storm’s match.

Based on a report from Bryan Alvarez, only a small number of individuals inside WWE were aware that Rousey could be appearing on the pay-per-view. Nevertheless, most inside the company were reportedly “shocked” when she showed up throughout the event.

Rousey emerged after Storm defeated Marina Shafir. The moment quickly escalated right into a tense confrontation between Storm and Rousey contained in the ring before security rushed out to separate them. The group responded with heavy boos as Rousey exited through the audience alongside Shafir.

Rousey can be preparing for a return to mixed martial arts, as she is scheduled to face Gina Carano in May 2026 under Most Invaluable Promotions, the promotion run by Jake Paul. The fight is anticipated to stream on Netflix.

After leaving WWE in 2023, Rousey wrestled sporadically on the independent scene and in Ring of Honor, where she teamed with Shafir. Her most up-to-date match took place in November 2023.
