Benjamin Netanyahu has put unfounded ‘Coffeegate’ conspiracy theories surrounding his death to bed in a brand new video.
In a video captioned ‘They are saying I’m what? Watch this…’ the Israeli leader says, ‘I’m dead… for coffee,’ as he makes his order at a coffee shop.
He also tries to joke about his demise using a standard Hebrew phrase that roughly translates to loving something to death.
‘I like my nation to death,’ he says, ‘and the way they’re conducting themselves.’
He holds up his 10 fingers to the camera, dispelling rumours confirmed by Grok, that his latest conference was actually an AI version of him.
Within the video, he says that Israelis should leave their homes for a ‘breath of fresh air’, but remain near shelters as Iran ups strikes.
He also promised Israelis that the federal government restrictions on activity will probably be lifted as soon as possible.
‘Your support is amazing—it empowers me, the federal government, the IDF’, he said.
‘We’re doing things I can’t share now, but very strong operations in Iran & Lebanon today too.
‘To everyone: keep following Home Front Command orders in any respect times.
‘Even heads of state—star at all times near a protected room. We’ll do our greatest.’
He jokes: ‘Thanks for the coffee. I don’t find out about calories… this looks dangerous for me’.

Coffeegate
Despite Netanyahu’s commitment to the bit, social media users are still insisting that even the death debunking video was AI.
They indicate the moment the leader takes an enormous swig of the recent beverage but it surely stays full to the brim – calling the controversy Coffeegate.
Others insist that Netanyahu’s sleeve gets pulled down by itself to show his arm and the strange behaviour of a person within the background.
Some speculated that the strange lighting on Netanyahu’s face was getting used to cover masking techniques.
Even Grok isn’t buying the minute-long clip, saying underneath the unique video: ‘No, it’s not real.
‘That is an AI-generated deepfake video. Netanyahu’s official account posted it as satire/humor (caption: “They are saying I’m what?”), prone to beat back on recent death rumours amid the Iran conflict.
‘Signs like static coffee level, unnatural lip sync, and casual talk of ops confirm it’s fake.’
Iran’s Revolutionary Guard vows to ‘pursue and kill child-killer’ Netanyahu
Tehran on Sunday promised to kill Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu because the U.S.-Israel war on Iran continued to threaten oil supplies within the Gulf.
‘IRGC vows to pursue and kill ‘child-killer’ Netanyahu if he remains to be alive,’ Iran’s IRNA news agency said in a post on X, referring to the country’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
It got here after the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) said that they had ‘eliminated’ two senior Iranian intelligence officials of the ‘Khatam al-Anbiya’ Emergency Command.
They added that it had struck the first research centre of the Iranian Space Agency and an aerial defence system production factory.
Why did people think Netanyahu is likely to be dead?
A video of Netanyahu giving an update on Israel’s war against Tehran, appearing to point out his right hand with six fingers, gave rise to speculation that the clip had been faked as a canopy since the Israeli PM had died.
After it emerged that Netanyahu was alive and well, several users quickly dismissed the clip as a poorly made AI deepfake.
Experts have warned that AI often experiences difficulty recreating certain human features, with badly simulated fingers a key telltale sign the video could also be faked.
But there was a unique explanation for the misleading Netanyahu video.
Analysts explained the widely shared screenshot had been frozen in a way that appeared to point out an extra finger at what was actually the sting of Netanyahu’s hand.
A better have a look at the leader’s raised hand shows he had just 4 fingers and a thumb – in keeping with the overwhelming majority of individuals.
The clip is just the newest example of how briskly misinformation spreads online during times of conflict and uncertainty.

Trump says he’ll strike Iran’s Kharg Island ‘only for fun’
Donald Trump threatened more strikes on Iran’s principal oil export hub Kharg Island.
With the U.S.-Israeli war on Iran in its third week, Trump said U.S. strikes had ‘totally demolished’ much of the island and warned of more, telling NBC News on Saturday, ‘We may hit it a couple of more times only for fun.’
The comments marked a pointy escalation from Trump, who had previously said the US was targeting only military sites on Kharg, and dealt a blow to diplomatic efforts to finish a war that has spread across the Middle East and killed greater than 2,000 people, most in Iran and Lebanon.
Trump called on countries which were impacted by the choking off of oil supplies through the Strait of Hormuz to affix efforts to reopen shipping lanes.
