Dominik Mysterio was absent from this week’s (16/03/2026) episode of WWE RAW. Fans noticed his sudden disappearance from the flagship show. Reportedly, Dom was originally set for a significant singles match. Nevertheless, medical concerns kept the previous IC Champion away from in-ring motion.
In a recent edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Bryan Alvarez noted,
“The unique planned match for last night’s WWE RAW was Dominik Mysterio vs Dragon Lee, but was modified to Penta vs Dragon Lee attributable to Dom being placed into concussion protocol.”
The injury reportedly happened outside of a WWE ring. Mysterio recently competed on the AAA Rey De Reyes event. Dirty Dom faced off against El Hijo De Vikingo and retained his AAA Mega Title. This physical and intense encounter saw Dominik Mysterio seemingly suffer a concussion.
Mysterio Teases Stipulation Match For WWE WrestleMania 42
The Latino Cheat recently appeared on “The Collection” podcast. Through the chat, Dominik Mysterio stated that he’s open to a Hair vs. Mask IC Title match against PENTA at WrestleMania. Dom said,
“So first things first, I gotta retain my AAA Mega Campionato this Saturday at Rey de Reyes, which obviously shouldn’t be an issue. But I believe going into it, I would like my IC Championship back. I don’t care what I even have to do. I do know Penta’s an unpleasant, ugly dude. So I’m willing to place my hair on the road against his mask and that IC Championship if he’s greater than willing to.”
“Hell, I’ll even put up my mustache, whatever it takes to get my IC Title back, because at the tip of the day, I beat this dude probably seven or eight times already. He got lucky on this last one due to Finn Balor’s dumba**. But, I’d prefer to walk in as a double champ or walk out as a double champ at WrestleMania.”
