Galatasaray winger Noa Lang was forced off with a nasty hand injury during his side’s Champions League defeat to Liverpool on Wednesday night.
The Dutch midfielder was brought on as a half-time substitute but left the pitch on a stretcher within the eightieth minute.
Lang sliced the thumb on his right hand after appearing to catch it on an promoting board by the side of the pitch.
The 26-year-old was checked on by several Liverpool players before he received extensive medical treatment on the side of the pitch.
As he was carried down the tunnel he received an ovation from the Liverpool supporters at Anfield.
