Sean O’Malley tells UFC to take him out the rankings if one thing happens on the White House

Sean O’Malley will accept just one result when he returns to the UFC Octagon on June 14.

The previous UFC bantamweight champion is amongst the largest names set to compete on the White House lawn this summer.

Before Alex Pereira debuts at heavyweight and Ilia Topuria faces Justin Gaethje to unify the titles at lightweight, O’Malley will goal his second win of 2026 against Aiemann Zahabi.

‘Suga’ will look to have his hand raised at the foremost event, but a win will not be the one thing on his mind.

Sean O’Malley will see a call win at UFC White House as a loss

O’Malley’s victory over Song Yadong at UFC 324 marked his first victory in almost two years. The previous champ had previously suffered consecutive defeats by the hands of Merab Dvalishvili.

But one other drought is ongoing for the Montana native.

‘Suga’ has not recorded a knockout since his title-winning TKO against Aljamain Sterling in August 2023.

With that in mind, O’Malley says nothing but a finish will count as a triumph for him in Washington D.C. this June.

“I got to have a f—-ng beautiful KO,” O’Malley said on his YouTube channel.

“It’s identical to there isn’t a other option. Winning a call is a loss. If I win a call, take me out of the rankings. I would like a f——ing finish here,” he added.

O’Malley is pursuing a rematch with latest champion Petr Yan with a second straight win. He beat the Russian back in 2022 to earn his first title shot.

His opponent, meanwhile, is trying to secure a primary opportunity. Zahabi’s UFC Vancouver win over Marlon Vera marked his seventh consecutive victory.
