It’s been quite the week for the members of MomTok and it doesn’t appear to be the drama is slowing down anytime soon.
Two solid members of “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” have broken their silence regarding their costar, Taylor Frankie Paul‘s alleged domestic violence incident that had the brand new season of “The Bachelorette” canceled, in addition to season 5 of “Mormon Wives” abruptly placed on hold.
Layla Taylor and Miranda McWhorter each recently shared Instagram Stories addressing the situation.
Layla Taylor Stands ‘Firmly Against Domestic Violence’
Layla took to her Instagram Stories to share her temporary thoughts on Taylor’s current situation.
“My personal history as a survivor makes it not possible for me to remain silent,” she began. “I stand firmly against domestic violence in any form.”
She concluded her Story to say she’s “keeping her children in my thoughts” and hopes that they’re protected “above all else.”
Layla isn’t the one MomTok mom to deal with the situation.
MomTok Member Miranda McWhorter Also Broke Her Silence
Miranda also took to her Instagram Stories to say what’s on her mind.
“I’ve truthfully been a little bit confused attempting to process this all,” she said. “The whole lot has been really heavy to see. Domestic violence and abuse of any kind is something I take very seriously.”
She continued by saying that “As a human, and particularly a mother, I cannot support that form of behavior” and that she is pondering of Taylor’s children during this time and hoping they’re “protected, supported, and surrounded by love.”
‘Mormon Wives’ Fans Are Conflicted By MomTok’s Take On The Situation
Viral social media content creator who goes by @stephwithdadeets shares tons of “Mormon Wives” updates. She recently shared a video on Instagram concerning the two MomTok members breaking their silence. It didn’t take long for fans to go away their thoughts on the situation within the comment section.
“They appear done. I feel like something else recently has happened that we still don’t learn about,” one person wrote. One other shared, “What persons are forgetting is that they should not just speaking out concerning the old video- they’re also speaking with reference to probably the most recent incident that they know more about than we do… gives us a heads up that it’s NOT good whatever happened.”
One other viewer said, “Guys, not only did her friends learn about this… they probably learn about countless situations that we’ve got no idea about. I hope they assist their friend get help because this definitely went each ways.” One other shared, “Why are y’all even commenting on this publicly if that is your friend? To mainly go against her in your public platform is like?!?”
Demi Engemann Also Shared An Instagram Story
In response to Page Six, one other MomTok member shared a recent IG Story that appears to be targeted at Taylor’s situation.
“The bills are paid. My husband is hot. Our marriage is robust. The youngsters are glad & healthy,” Demi Engemann wrote in her since-deleted Story. “I feel so rattling wealthy.”
She added, “My version of peace that nobody could ever destroy regardless of how hard some have tried. One of the best revenge truly resides well. I’ll die on that hill without end.”
A source told Page Six that Engemann’s post referred to something she shared on an episode of the “Disgraceful” podcast that released on Thursday.
Will MomTok Survive?
The query has been asked multiple times in much less dire situations and all the time had a touch of possibly not surviving as a gaggle. But this time, answering if MomTok will survive takes on an entire recent meaning.
With season 5 of “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” on pause as a consequence of Taylor’s domestic violence allegations and the recently released video of her and Dakota that has fans gasping, MomTok surviving often is the least of all of the concerns this group has.
Within the last week alone, news has broken about Taylor’s domestic violence allegations, the brand new season of “The Bachelorette” starring Taylor being canceled just days before releasing, in addition to Jordan Ngatikaura filing for divorce from Jessi Draper. Looming within the background is Mikayla Matthews health and marriage struggles and Layla’s eating disorder.
