EVIL and Hiromu Takahashi are each weighing their futures after recently leaving NJPW, and WWE appears to be a powerful option for every of them.
Takahashi, who joined Recent Japan in 2010, announced in February that he would depart the corporate. Nevertheless, he later said in an interview that his goals haven’t modified, including his goal of winning the IWGP Heavyweight Championship someday.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Takahashi’s comments could make WWE ponder whether he ultimately plans to return to Japan, which could affect their interest.
EVIL left NJPW in January after spending nearly his entire profession there, other than a temporary ROH stint. The report noted that he had been tipped for WWE since then, with rumors about Takahashi circulating before his exit became public.
As of now, neither man has confirmed where they’ll sign next.
