Ronda Rousey showed up in AEW, but she doesn’t look like officially “All Elite.”
Rousey made a surprise return to pro wrestling at AEW Revolution 2026, aligning with Marina Shafir. In an update on her future, Fightful Select is reporting that she isn’t currently signed to the corporate.
Regarding her appearance, it was noted that Rousey lives nearby and maintains a positive relationship with AEW President Tony Khan. Her recent ROH match and the numbers it generated were also discussed internally.
AEW sources said Rousey received the intended heel response, though she could have anticipated a unique response from the group. As for out of doors reactions, while some reports suggested that WWE was caught off guard, sources inside WWE and TKO insist they weren’t surprised. They consider Rousey is open to opposing WWE, the UFC, and TKO, and don’t expect her to return to WWE.
Presently, there are not any confirmed plans for a follow-up appearance. With Rousey based within the Los Angeles area, the one-off appearance was a simple trip for her to make.
