Mick Foley Blasts Donald Trump For Lacking Empathy & Misusing US Military Power

WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley has intensified his criticism of Donald Trump, accusing him of a whole lack of empathy and comparing his leadership to a child with a shiny recent toy controlling the military.

During a recent interview with Paul Rieckhoff, Foley compared his own long-term support for U.S. troops with what performative patriotism that demands no real sacrifice. He argued that many individuals once branded critics of war as traitors, yet now ignore the human cost of selections made in Washington.

Foley revealed that the president treats the choice to send troops to war too casually and claimed that Trump’s approach to power focuses more on control than responsibility. He warned that the growing normalization of armed military presence in public spaces resembles conditions in developing countries, noting examples like Ferdinand Marcos’ rule within the Philippines. Based on Foley, this risks getting Americans used to seeing soldiers on the streets as a part of on a regular basis life.

He also raised concerns concerning the influence of Trump’s inner circle, even suggesting possible elder abuse by adviser Stephen Miller, while criticizing the cruel treatment of immigrants and an off-the-cuff attitude toward war. Foley argued that constant political chaos has pushed issues like migrant abuse out of the highest tier of public concerns. He further suggested that major controversies, including renewed attention on the Epstein files, could also be deliberately overshadowed by fresh distractions.

Foley linked Trump’s outlook to the legacy of Roy Cohn, calling him an awful guy and warning that this connection should trouble voters. He believes the USA is in a dangerous place when empathy is mocked as a weakness quite than recognized as a national strength.

Despite backlash and even distancing himself from WWE over his political stance, Foley shows no sign of backing down from his outspoken criticism of Trump’s leadership.
