Things didn’t go as expected for CM Punk on last week’s WWE RAW. During his promo battle with Roman Reigns, Punk lost his calm after being called “old.” He ended up punching Reigns by the tip of the segment.
In a recent episode of his “The Stevie Richards Show,” Richards pitched a ruthless angle where Punk could hurt Reigns more personally. The previous WWE Superstar shared,
“We’re in a disconnected gray area in a way, if that is smart. They need to go all the best way and lean into it. And the one way you possibly can do this, you make it personal. Possibly Punk goes to Sika’s grave, Punk goes to a family reunion. It’s essential to get it personally involved with the family. After which perhaps all of the families at ringside and perhaps anyone who’s physically able, Punk gets physically involved with them to place something on it.”
Moreover, Richards suggested a stipulation match between Roman Reigns and CM Punk at WWE WrestleMania 42. He said,
“Is that this one in every of those things with the world title match, which normally wouldn’t need [a stipulation]. Do we have now or not it’s a Street Fight? Do we have now or not it’s some stipulation so as to add something? Does Punk attempt to make it a Buried Alive Match in honor of Sika? (…) Can we add something where the stipulation backfires on Punk, say where Roman, Roman’s going over is my guess.”
Reigns Mocked Punk After WWE RAW
After last week’s RAW, WWE posted a video on Instagram that showed Roman Reigns mocking CM Punk. The Original Tribal Chief said,
“That is what you cheer for? He can sit there and run his mouth, but he can’t take it. You say one thing, and he snaps. Who’s in whose head now? That’s the King within the mental game? Nothing. Nothing.”
