The Anaheim Geese are certainly one of the higher teams within the Western Conference. This season has seen the Geese turn the corner on a brutal rebuild that saw them bottom out for a couple of years. One player who has seen all of it is forward Troy Terry. And he has proven to be one of the crucial necessary contributors on this team.
This was actually evident on Sunday night. The Geese battled with the Buffalo Sabres, certainly one of the Eastern Conference’s best squads, on the Honda Center in Anaheim, California. It was an in depth game, but Terry found the back of the web in time beyond regulation to provide his team the win.

The Geese are actually the primary team within the Pacific Division with greater than 80 points on the season. And so they now own a four-point lead over the Vegas Golden Knights for the highest spot within the division. Terry spoke after the sport about what this season’s success has meant to him, given his long tenure with the team.
“We’ve been dying to play in these games,” Terry said, via NHL.com. “We’re just attempting to stay within the moment and just relish being on this position and hopefully continue to learn along the best way.”
Terry has spent his entire profession with the Geese, and is currently playing a few of his best hockey. He has only skated in 50 games, but he has 16 goals and 51 points in those contests. Along with the time beyond regulation winner, Terry also scored within the second period, giving him a two-goal night.
The Geese will look to proceed padding their Pacific Division lead on Tuesday night once they tackle the Vancouver Canucks.
