Linda McMahon Brutally Trolled + Fact-Checked After Odd Tweet

Is Linda McMahon having a Shawn Michaels-style “lost within the moment” viral mishap? The web is actually treating it that way.

McMahon’s official Twitter account raised eyebrows after posting a random message concerning the PlayStation Portable. The post read more like a nostalgic promo than anything tied to her role in government. It read as follows,

“In 2005, all the things modified! The ‘PlayStation Portable’ (PSP) was released and it did greater than make gaming portable…it made entertainment personal, mobile, and all the time nearby. It was the start of life on the go.”

That alone had people confused, however it got worse — the image attached didn’t even show a PSP. As an alternative, it featured the unique PlayStation, prompting users to indicate the apparent mismatch.

Many questioned why the Secretary of Education would suddenly be tweeting a couple of gaming console.

One user joked, “Linda, who was your Twisted Metal: Head-On essential?”

“Why the f*** is the Secretary of Education tweeting concerning the PSP?”

One other viral reply poked at her position directly, writing, “Secretary of Education, everyone.”

And maybe essentially the most relatable response of all – “What the f*** are you talking about, Linda?”

Moreover, McMahon’s tweet was fact-checked/community noted with the next,

“Handheld video game systems have existed since 1976 and the primary handheld console with interchangeable game software was released in 1979.”
