Miley Cyrus brought back her signature blonde hair and bangs for the Hannah Montana twentieth Anniversary Special, which premiered on Tuesday, March 24.
The highly anticipated special is “a love letter to fans,” in keeping with Disney+’s official logline. Cyrus even explained how real-life godmother Dolly Parton inadvertently brought the Hannah Montana anniversary special to life. The largest lesson Cyrus learned from Parton was to start out promoting something before it’s real.
“I just began talking a few Hannah-versary special before one even existed,” the singer said on GMA. “Then I went to Disney and said, ‘Look how excited everyone seems to be about this imaginary Hannah-versary.’”
